Definition:
Priceline hotel bidding is bidding on a hotel. You get to bid what you want, although your bid may be accepted or rejected.

Tutorial:

1. First you must decide where you're staying, what days you're staying.

2. Then, click the Priceline link at the top of this page. You will be directed to the Priceline main page.

3. You must then click the "Hotel" tab outlined by yellow in the image below. The hotel box will show up.

4. Then click the "Name Your Own Price" link outlined by pink in the image below and the Name Your Own Price box will pop-out, which is outlined by red in the image below.



5. Now type the city and dates into the appropriate boxes and click "bid now"

6. A different page will come up.

7. First you must pick the area you want to stay in. To get a closer look of the area you can click the "detail map" link, which is beside each area.

8. After that you must pick the star level for your hotel, which is right underneath it.

9. Now you must decide how much you want to bid. By searching through our forums you can see how much certain areas were won for before and then make a better bid.

10. After, you must enter the "Reservation Name" below.

11. Click the "NEXT" button when you are done.

12. Another page will be shown. This is the confirmation page. Read through this carefully and make sure everything is correct, since there your reservations cannot be canceled, changed, or transferred if your bid is accepted.

13. You will have to enter your initials and you may have to enter some other information below the "Initial Here:" box like a CVV/CVC code, email, etc.

14. Depending on if your registered or not you may have to enter more information on the next page.

a. If you do have to enter more information, than enter it and you will then be directed to the decision page.

b. If you don't have to enter more information you will be directed straight to the decision page.

15. Your page may be refresh a couple of times but it will end up at a page which will say if your bid was accepted or rejected.

a. If your bid was accepted then it will show you your itinerary.

b. If your bid was rejected you will have to bid again. Before you bid again you will have to change either the area, star quality, or your dates. This is where free re-bids comes in, which you can learn more about by clicking here.
